Hello, my fashion readers. After having most of my garments packed away in luggage for nearly six months, I finally unpacked — and unsurprisingly, they’re as wrinkled as pickles. The city I’m in right now is sitting at a sweltering 33 to 40 degrees (and it’s not cooling down anytime soon). Needless to say, I’m not going out much and spending most of my time blissfully parked under the air conditioner (bless you, AC).
While doing some inspiration hunting on Pinterest, I realized the key to my summer vibe is simple: linen, cotton, and anything breezy. As you know, I love colour, and my summer formula always comes back to one thing — a simple-cut top paired with a more complex, statement bottom.
Welcome to my new mirror, new outfit, and new apartment. The rest of the space isn’t fully set up to my standards yet — I’ve only been here for a week. But one thing I did waste no time on: what we call... a walk-in closet! I was lucky enough to have an extra room when I found this apartment, and I set it up right away.
Living in the south of China now, I quickly realized the humidity here could absolutely ruin all my winter wool pieces. So this closet enjoys a constant 26-degree air conditioning, plus a dehumidifier running 24/7. Honestly, it’s giving princess treatment.

I tried double-layering tank tops last summer, but purely for aesthetic reasons. Yesterday, when I put on a single tank top, I realized my nipples were… kind of showing — even a little in the photo below. Well, I haven’t worn a bra in almost eight years. I never cared, and honestly, I felt like society didn’t either. It’s always been comfortable for me.
Not to say China isn’t open or liberated — it absolutely is. But I did feel a little more conscious about it this time. Out of consideration (and maybe to avoid making others uncomfortable), I thought — why not just wear two tank tops? One for coverage, two because it actually looks pretty stylish.
So, I pulled out all my tank tops and started mixing and matching. To my surprise, no matter how I layered them, the result looked effortlessly chic. Most of my tank tops are from Aritzia or Uniqlo, and — surprisingly — Brandy Melville offers some really cute, great-quality cotton camisole as well.

More content is on the way! I feel so much more motivated now that I’m a full-time blogger/influencer/KOL — whatever you want to call it. I’m genuinely excited to create, share, and brainstorm what to talk about next.
I wake up, open a podcast, make breakfast, sip coffee, all while answering messages and emails, and figuring out what I want to focus on for the day. A friend once told me that when a creative person becomes too organized, they lose their inspiration — and I feel the same. I’m half mess, half organized.
When I try to tightly control what I need to get done, my drive disappears. But when I start a million things without a strict order, I feel free — and somehow, I end up completing them without putting too much pressure on myself.
Anyway, talk soon! Let me know what you’d like me to write about next.
Enjoying the heatwave!
